Getting to and around the BVI isn’t always the easiest. Ferry schedules might not match up to your plans and there are many destinations in the BVI with limited or no ferry service. Water taxis are a popular transport option in the Virgin Islands because they offer private, personalized service between the islands on your schedule.
Water Taxi
Service is available on demand for both day travel and evening trips. More comfortable and flexible than ferries, water taxis typically offer door-to-door service including ground transportation. Many services offer airport pickup and can accommodate large groups. Just sit back and relax as you’re taken directly to your villa. Only BVI based providers can deliver you to a destination different than the point of entry; USVI based water taxis can’t take you past a point of entry.

Water taxis provide service between many locations including:
- Virgin Gorda

- Norman Island
- Anegada

Rates
Most rates are based on a minimum of 4 guests with an additional cost per passenger for one-way trips. Rates normally do not include processing or customs fees. Check individual provider’s website for updated rate information and reservations.
Customs
Water taxis can also help you through customs by avoiding the long lines associated with ferries. Many can even help get cleared after-hours if you have a late flight.
